About me
Lee Cheney’s style is Abstract Expressionism - emotionally intimate and formally experimental. A search for a visual language that can express identity and shift between bold geometry and references to British Pop Art, especially when merging personal narrative with mass culture. Born in Camden Town, his working-class roots and connection to London’s cultural scene shape much of his artistic perspective. Lee’s work is influenced by artists such as Hockney, Kandinsky and Picasso.
