Moments of Process came out of a period where I needed to slow down and really work things through. I was interested in how a painting can be built through a series of deliberate decisions, rather than one dominant idea taking over. The relationships between the forms, what’s held back and what’s allowed through.
I worked on it over three months, returning to it again and again until it felt resolved. It’s a piece that is open and made to be encountered with, lived with, and seen.
